Fall 2016 Recruitment:

Add A Chapter To You Story

Dear Potential New Member,

Once upon a time, I was freshman at Drexel and wanted to take control of the next chapter of my life. I dreamed of finding a community experience full of strong leaders, true friendships, memorable philanthropic events, meaningful service and competitive academics. Choosing to go through sorority recruitment has let my story be all of that and so much more.

You are embarking on an incredible chapter of your life by making the decision to go Greek. It will change you in ways you never imagined and push you in ways you never expected - and I promise it will be all for the better.

Drexel is different and Drexel Greek Life is anything but ordinary. By deciding to go through recruitment you will be joining a remarkable community. Since joining Greek Life I have completed countless hours of community service, helped to raise thousands of dollars for philanthropy and made friends and memories that will last a lifetime. Imagine the amazing things you could do and be by joining this community of bright, vibrant, intelligent individuals with a passion for the people and world around them. By joining this community you will be joining a family - that is why we call ourselves sisters.

The things you will accomplish as a sorority woman will be remarkable. But more importantly the people you connect with will be remarkable. Thanks to the incredible Greek network I have found both academic and professional mentors who have all been willing to go the extra mile to help me succeed. These people will be there when you have a hard day and will be able to laugh with you harder than you ever have. You will make memories and have experiences of all kinds together.

By adding a chapter to your story, you will discover the best version of yourself.

One day you may sit across from a woman in an interview for your dream job wearing your sorority pin proudly. The woman sitting across from you may be a sorority woman as well. No matter her letters she will know your experience. She will know you put your academics first because without your academics you wouldn’t have met your sisters. She will know you are a leader. She will know you can work in a team. She will know you are civic minded. She will know you can raise money for philanthropy. She will know you care about something bigger than yourself.

By adding a chapter to your story in Fall 2016 you will be setting yourself up for a story full of growth, love, and achievement.

Happily ever after,
